In its beginnings, TYRSA was born as a factory of standard metal parts produced whit stamping dies, built and dessigned in Tyrsa's tool construction workshop. With the passage of time, the company expands its services in order to offer a global solution to the needs of supplying metal parts of its customers, also producing customized parts and building their necessary toolings.
TYRSA was founded in 1964. It started its activity in the Mèxic street of Barcelona and the offices and warehouse were located in the street Villarroel corner with London street. In 1977, all the facilities were moved to the Badalona Sud industrial estate, occupying an area of 1,600 m2.
Between 1997 and 1998, TYRSA developed its initial assessment of occupational hazards following the instructions set out in chapters 15 and 16 of Law 31/1995 of November 8, 1995 on the prevention of occupational hazards. We edit a manual in which each of the work places is collected with its inherent risks and a second manual with the risks associated with the machinery. In the same period, the initial environmental assessment was also developed.
In 2005, the finished product warehouse was moved to facilities located in the Vallmorena industrial estate of Vilassar de Dalt.
In 2009, after a restructuring of the Badalona plant, we have reunited our facilities, eliminating the Vilassar warehouse.
At present, the company has implemented a quality assurance system based on the international standard UNE-EN / ISO 9001: 2015.
In 2014, TYRSA received the award from the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona to long-distance companies for their 50 years of active service.
The Chamber recognizes and rewards active Catalan companies that are turning 50 and over, in an event that brings together players from the economic and political sphere at Casa Llotja de Mar.
This award aims to publicly recognize the effort and management capacity of companies and institutions that manage to maintain their continuity within the Catalan business fabric over time.

WATER:
- We only evacuate the water coming from the sanitary network to the sewerage network
- Dirty water generated in all cleaning processes, including soil, is distilled and reused. The waste obtained is sent to the authorized processor
- There is a clear desire to minimize water consumption
ELECTRIC POWER
- 90% of the lighting is through LED technology
PACKAGING
- Tyrsa primarily uses cardboard as a means of packing its parts
- Some of our products are shipped with recoverable packaging
